Excess Telecom offers talk, text and broadband services plans through the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP), Lifeline Program and its Connections plans. The ACP is a government benefit program operated by the Federal Communication Commission (FCC) that provides discounts on monthly broadband Internet service. The ACP provides discounts of up to $30 per eligible household on monthly broadband Internet access service (or up to $75 per eligible household on Tribal lands) and $100 on a tablet device for a required $11 co-payment with Excess Telecom. The Lifeline Program is a broadband discount program also operated by the FCC. Excess Telecom offers Lifeline services through an agreement with Infiniti Mobile. Qualified individuals are enrolled with Infiniti Mobile and receive their Lifeline services through Excess Telecom. The Connections plans offer broadband services to individuals who qualify to receive federal Lifeline services. Connections subscribers eligible to receive an ACP-subsidized device may purchase a computer tablet for $11, or they may receive a free phone. The Connections plans are promotional offerings by Excess Telecom that require payment of a deferred $12 service activation fee at the time of enrollment and provide limited-time coverage of four (4) months of service.
